| Welcher Text zählt beim Diamantmox (Mox Diamond), der auf der Karte oder der Text, der bei magiccards.info angezeigt wird? Falls der Kartentext stimmt, könnte man den Diamantmox nach dem Spielen auch einfach auf den Friedhof legen, was für manche Karten praktisch wäre. |

Maßgebend ist immer der englische Text aus der Oracle-Datenbank, der alle Errata berücksichtigt. Dieser Text wird in der schwebenden Kartenanzeige auf diesen Seiten und bei magiccards.info ausgegeben, er hat Vorrang vor dem deutschen Text in der Datenbank und vor dem Text, der auf der Karte aufgedruckt ist.

| Wenn ich den Diamantmox (Mox Diamond) ins Spiel bringe, ohne dass ich ein Land abwerfe, kann er dann trotzdem für Mana getappt werden, bevor ich ihn opfern muss? |

Dem wäre so, wenn der aufgedruckte Text noch gelten würde. Der aktuelle Text lautet jedoch: "Als zusätzliche Kosten, um den Diamantmox zu spielen, ..." – d. h. du kannst ihn gar nicht spielen, ohne ein Land abzuwerfen.
Wenn der Diamantmox jedoch auf andere Weise ins Spiel kommt (z. B. mit der Bergungsstation (Salvaging Station) vom Friedhof ins Spiel gebracht wird), dann entfallen die zusätzlichen Kosten.

Siehe Frage (1478) samt Antwort. Da es nicht heißt "du kannst..." (engl. "you may..."), handelt es sich um einen zwingenden Effekt. Sofern es also wenigstens ein gültiges Ziel für die Fähigkeit gibt, musst du ein Artefakt oder eine Verzauberung zerstören.

| Häufig lese ich im Kartentext "Spiele diese Fähigkeit wie eine Manaquelle" (engl. play this ability as a mana source), z. B. beim Diamantmox (Mox Diamond). Wie funktioniert nochmal eine Manaquelle? |

Das ist ein veralteter Hinweistext. Nach derzeitigen Regeln werden Fähigkeiten, die Mana erzeugen, "Manafähigkeiten" genannt, ohne dass im Kartentext nochmals darauf hingewiesen wird. So oder so, der Hintergrund ist, dass solche Fähigkeiten zwar wie andere aktivierte Fähigkeiten gespielt werden (bezahle die Aktivierungskosten), der Effekt jedoch nicht auf den Stapel kommt, sondern sofort das Mana liefert. Darum können Manafähigkeiten nicht neutralisiert werden.
